A sense of normality to someone can be anywhere. Somewhere someone calls home may be disgusting to someone else. It is something that is discomforting that will keep someone away. Different senses of lights and textures may give a normal person shivers down their spine but the things in these photos are familiar to some. It's home.

I tried my best to use light in a way that makes the viewer feel uneasy. Highlighting the twists and twines of the leaves or the tightly squeezed claustrophobic lemons. I did my best to bring out the textures of wood and rusted metal. I also used lighting to make the mood feel almost unworldly. In post I tried to really darken my shadows and make my blacks as true as I can. While making the colors a bit more saturated and vibrant to make things feel more unnatural and eerie. I think with all the awkward angles and weird subjects. I think I kept it close to the theme of weird.
